Course Overview
This BA (Hons) Business and Management course, is intended for those having previously completed a HND (Level 5) in Business in the past, and is to top-up your HND into a full Bachelor’s degree. This course will grow further on your previously developed skills in leadership, management and working effectively in the world of business. The skills gained are valuable in a large variety of sectors, with opportunities being abundant.

When and Where:
This course has intakes available in September, January and June each year.
Classes are available in multiple campus’s across the UK, located in the cities: London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
The course is taught on several schedules, and we can help you to liaise with the university to get the right sessions for you, classes are taught on weekdays, evenings and/or weekends.

Year 1:
- Leadership and Management (20 credits)
- Organisational Strategy (20 credits)
- Managing Sustainability (20 credits)
- New Trends in Management (20 credits)
- Business and Management Project (40 credits)
How is the course assessed?
There are a variety of different assessment methods used within this course, including written examinations, reports, portfolios, essays, presentations and more. These are decided by the school (GBS) and are reviewed annually. These may change from time-to-time, in order to maintain compliance with the Pearson Education Standards.
Entry requirements
All applicants are required to be assessed by the admissions team, and are required to:
- Pass a personal interview to assess current knowledge level
- Have successfully completed GBS HND Business
Or
- a Merit in an HND Business if undertaken at another institution
Certification:
On completion of the course learners will gain a recognised BA (Hons) Business and Management degree awarded by Bath Spa University.
On completion of this course individuals can progress onto further courses related to their career aims and interests.
Funding
Funding is available for students on this course in line with the requirements of Student Finance England.
This includes the course funding – £9,250 per year
